Speed Tip: Apply all filters at once with the "Pause" feature

Reduce data load times by applying all filters and settings in one go, rather than waiting for each to individually load.

Tableau allows users to "pause" the loading of new data until all filters are applied at once. This can be especially critical when applying multiple demographic status filters (we offer 9 different categories) or when switching frequently between audiences in the data dashboards.

Navigate to the top left bar where it says "Pause", then click for it to change to "Resume."
Apply all of your filter selections across this dashboard page (it will take ~1 second for each filter to think).
Go back and hit "Resume" so the button changes back to "Pause." You'll then see all filter settings apply in one go.
