This article overviews the modifications to the Media Module questions and Media Module dashboard in the Brand Data (Brand Tracker)
It now isn’t just critical to understand which media source types young consumers are regularly using, and where they’re being influenced with advertising, but also to know exactly which brand platforms they’re using.
In order to provide more actionable insights, we modified the two Media Module questions to include more brand-specific platform options. The questions are now:
Z1000. What media sources have you used in the past week?
(New) Z1005. Of those media sources, what specific brands have you used in the past week?
Z1010. Where have you seen or heard ads in the past week that made you want to purchase something?
(New) Z1015. On which specific brands have you seen or heard those ads in the past week?
REMINDER: These media consumption questions are asked to all respondents taking the survey. You're also able to filter the results by the specific user bases of any brand in the platform.
Here are the new sets of media questions asked, with the added brand source options:
